A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the city of Be'er Sheva in southern Israel, according to Israel's police and emergency services. Police said they received a report Friday morning about a stabbing attack at Be'er Sheva's central bus station. The attacker was "neutralized" on the spot and police forces are conducting searches for any additional risk, police said in a statement. Emergency services are treating the injured man, who is in mild condition with a stab wound, and taking him to hospital, Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom (MDA), said in a separate statement.

Jerusalem CNN —At least one person was killed and seven others injured on Thursday in a highway shooting in the occupied West Bank on the outskirts of Jerusalem, according to authorities. Two of the injured remain in serious condition, the Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency and medical service said. The shooting took place near the Israeli settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, according to a separate statement issued by the police spokesperson’s unit. The U.N. aid agency serving Palestinians in Gaza faced more funding cuts Monday amid accusations that 12 of its employees were involved in the Oct. 7 attack that sparked the Israel-Hamas war. The allegations over the weekend triggered a wave of funding cuts by major donors, including the U.S., Britain and France. UNRWA employs roughly 13,000 Palestinians in Gaza and says it will be forced to halt operations within weeks if funding isn’t restored. CNN —Israel has proposed that Hamas senior leaders could leave Gaza as part of a broader ceasefire agreement, two officials familiar with the ongoing international discussions told CNN. Senior Hamas officials are known to live in Doha, Qatar, and the Lebanese capital Beirut, among other places outside the Palestinian territories. That, combined with the “enormous pressure” on Netanyahu and his government to bring hostages home, Miller said, has created a situation where Israel would be willing to propose having Hamas leaders leave Gaza.
